Suspect wanted in Grays Hill shooting incident turns himself in Posted on July 31, 2017 by S Y WoodsJuly 31, 2017 A man wanted in connection with an April shooting incident in Grays Hill turned himself in on Friday night, July 28, in Beaufort. Twenty=seven-year-old Jeffrey Grant of Beaufort, who was wanted on arrest warrants for Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol and Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine that stemmed from an investigation into the April 9 shooting incident at the Grays Hill Community Center, turned himself in Friday night in Beaufort. Grant was transported to the Beaufort County Detention Center by deputies and incarcerated without incident. His bonds were set at $5,000 for the Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol charge and $10,000 for the Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine charge. He has since posted bond and was released.
